About Me

My name is Fiona Gregory and I am qualified to practice as a psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner and Executive Coach in the UK. I am based in Esher, Surrey. As a therapist, I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma and adversity, whether as a child or adult, but also offer general psychotherapy services. I have helped people through some of life's most challenging and distressing experiences, including childhood abuse, suicide, abandonment, divorce, abuse in intimate relationships, and burn-out.

I hold a Masters degree in Person-Centred Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London and trained as an EMDR Trauma practitioner with Mirabilis Health Institute in Northern Ireland. I have also completed extensive further specialist trauma training.

I hold a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching in London. I work with everyday people who want to improve their performance at work, sort through difficult work related issues, work towards more senior positions in their organisation or make changes in their career. I have previously held roles in people management and development for EY, KPMG, and PA Consulting Group.

I offer individual sessions for adults.

I hold full UK Council for Psychotherapy accreditation. This means that, although in the UK therapy and counselling is not a profession that is regulated by law, you can be assured that I have achieved an extremely high standard of training which is recognised and accredited by one of the UK's professional bodies for psychotherapists - the UKCP. UKCP accredited therapists must meet high standards of professional supervision, clinical practice, and continuing education to provide therapy. I am required to be committed to fulfil ethical standards and to maintain this accreditation, I must continue to satisfy the UKCP requirements year on year.

This is my commitment to you, my client.

My Qualifications

My Approach

We will tailor our work to your needs. I might make some suggestions based on my experience, like whether I think EMDR might help you based on what you've told me, but you will be the one setting the agenda for the work and deciding whether to blend EMDR with talking therapy/coaching or to focus on one approach only.

I am more than happy for you to send me an email so that we can talk about your needs. Please book a free 20 minute consultation via zoom, so we can see whether we feel like the right fit for each other.

We can work together online or in person. I practice from two locations in Esher, Surrey.

I strive to take an inclusive approach in my work. This means that I continually invest in additional personal development and training, so that I

  • continue to explore and understand my own identity, including my white racial identity,
  • examine how I impact people who are different from me,
  • strive for the most inclusive and safe therapy relationship that I can offer,
  • aim for fair access to therapeutic and coaching services.
